It was so nice to meet you at the GMHG this weekend! It is wonderful to have a face to attach to the blog. Keep up the good work, I really enjoy the blog and will definitely look into the indexes.

Thanks, Kate! It was a pleasure to meet you. We stopped at John C. Calhoun's home at Clemson on the way back. They were interested in the index also. I put a link up to the post about Orval on the Facebook "place" page. Looks like they're planning a reunion next year of John C.'s descendants and the other families in the area that married in with the Calhouns. We'll let everyone know as soon as they fix a date!
