Announcement from the Calhoun DNA project

Friends and relatives if you have never used the YSearch function of FTDNA you should. It is very easy to add your data to our Calhoun Project. As you log in look at the paragraph that has the Ysearch info in the lower body of your log in. In the paragraph is highlighted text that says add your info to Ysearch. If you have upgraded your DNA count please go back and update your information by clicking on the highlighted text. If you have not used YSearch it does not cost a thing and it is a great way to compare DNA findings with the group. Thanks so much for your support on our Calhoun Project.

Awesome, Dan. Thankyou so much. If only someone of our clan would exactly match my Great Grandfather and have the mutation at allele 439, OH Gosh, Dad is gone now, and so I cannot share the news with him when it finally happens. Am so looking forward to my invite to the Colhoun convention in MAY !! I think the yDNA needs to come from Orvals' family who landed in Ontario, and Owen could be one of those, but does not feel the need, since he knows who he is, haha ! 3 close matches though ! And found some Colquhouns in their families as well. Have you looked at the matches yDNA in Ancestry.com?? Happy New Year, take care.
